iLAuNCH Space Accelerator (iSA)

Australia’s first Industry Accelerator dedicated to Space Launch including funding for short-term projects through a Fast-Track Commercialisation Fund;

iSA will offer project funding to university-industry teams under the iLAuNCH Fast-Track Commercialisation Fund to address product specific commercialisation challenges. Initially 18 short-term proof-of-concept and commercialisation projects will be supported, on a matching funds basis, to rapidly enhance the ability of researchers and their industry collaborators to commercialise new technologies.

The accelerator will also serve as a platform to market university service offerings for space product development and testing. This will include services such as flight observation, wind tunnel testing and rocket fuel development, and will draw upon current assets such as UniSQ’s hypersonic wind tunnel facility and flight observation capabilities, ANU’s Quantum Optical Ground Station and UniSA’s Future Industries Institute.
