iLAuNCH appoints new Advisory Board members
The Australian Government’s iLAuNCH Trailblazer has appointed five new Advisory Board members to provide strategic guidance and oversight to ensure the continued success of the program.
The five new board members bring with them extensive experience within space, medical and technological fields to contribute valuable industry insights and expertise over their 12-month term. New members include:
- Veronica Bainton – Director of Governance and Industry Engagement at Optus Satellite and Space Systems,Chair of the NSW Space Research Network and Deputy Chair of the Space Industry Association of Australia (SIAA).
- Dr Katrina Sanders – Chief Medical Officer at Aspen Medical.
- Ravi Jain – General Manager at MEMKO.
- Jarrod Powell – General Manager of Space Capability at the Australian Space Agency (ASA).
- Professor Celine d’Orgeville – Director of the Advanced Instrumentation & Technology Centre (AITC) at the Australian National University (ANU).
They join Dr Rosalind Dubs, Chair of the iLAuNCH Advisory Board, and board members Professor John Bell, Deputy Vice Chancellor of the University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ) and Michael Thomas, Deputy Vice Chancellor of Enterprise Services at the University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ).
