Project Funding

The iLAuNCH Trailblazer is a $180m program to transform Australia’s competitiveness by rapidly commercialising university research through industry partnerships. Our efforts directly enhance Australia’s burgeoning space industry.

iLAuNCH has already brought together a powerful consortium of industry and research partners focusing on developing advanced technologies for space and aerospace manufacturing applications, including associated manufacturing supply chains. iLAuNCH commercialisation projects aim to elevate the Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of research projects to commercial-ready applications and foster pathways to market to propel Australia’s space and aerospace industries.

iLAuNCH Core Commercialisation projects are in collaboration with one of our partner universities, The University of Southern Queensland, The Australian National University or the University of South Australia. 

Projects are aligned to one of seven key program areas:

    1. Additive Manufacturing
    2. Material Processing and Advanced Materials
    3. Hypersonics and Flight Diagnostics
    4. Rocket launch
    5. Rocket manufacturing
    6. Satellites, Communications and Sensors
    7. Advanced Technologies for Aerospace and Space Applications
