How is it done today, and what are the limits of the current practice?
Provide a clear set of objectives and a detailed account of the current status of the technology you are proposing. Describe the plan for development with reference to the stated objectives. This summary should provide sufficient detail for the Evaluation Panel to be able to assess the technical aspects of the proposed project.
Please provide a brief comment on the status of the intellectual property associated with this project; (1) Is the IP unencumbered and owned by the University (yes, no, unsure)?; (2) Does the project draw upon / require intellectual property from the industry partner (yes, no)? If yes, please describe:
